Dog Licensing

The City of Highland is proud to offer a new online dog license application portal (link below). To renew an existing dog license, please use the Search icon; find your existing license; click on View and Renew and follow the instructions on the screen.  To apply for a new dog license, please click on the Paw icon and fill out/submit the application.  If you have any questions, please email doglicense@cityofhighland.org.

Requirements

  • Late fee is one half License Fee - assessed after 30 days overdue
  • Must show proof of alteration to receive a discount on license
  • Must show proof of current rabies vaccination certificate through the date of license
  • Proof of age is required if applying for a senior discount

A replacement tag is $5.

  • 1 year: $36
  • 2 years: $72
  • 3 years: $108

Not Spayed / Neutered

  • 1 year: $120
  • 2 years: $240
  • 3 years: $360

Senior Citizen (55 & Older)/ Disabled or Veterans with an Altered Dog

  • 1 year: $24
  • 2 years: $48
  • 3 years: $72

Stray Animal / Trap

Please call the San Bernardino County Animal Control at 800-472-5609 to handle all animal enforcement services in our city to include if your pet is missing, if you find a stray animal, or need a trap.
