The Highland Police & Fire Departments wish to remind everyone that fireworks (safe and sane included) are not permitted in the City of Highland.
It is a violation to possess, use or sell any type of fireworks within City limits. Violation of the City ordinance could result in a $1,000 fine and/or arrest. Individuals may also be held civilly liable for damages resulting from use of fireworks and for costs of a response by the Fire or Police Departments. Parents will be held liable for damages caused by their children.
